Administrator and Treatment Coordinator

Darlene C. was born in Warner Robins and raised in Savannah. She is a graduate of Savannah Technical College. Darlene has continued her education by attending specialized management, finance and information technology programs. She is a member of the Dental Assisting Advisory Committee for Savannah Technical College, the Dental Implant Coordinators Association and a lifetime member and Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Management (FAADOM). Darlene worked in a specialty medical practice for ten years prior to joining our practice. 

Treatment Coordinator

Heather L. was born in Savannah and currently lives in Richmond Hill. Heather has a background in customer service and is always eager to assist patients with scheduling and coordination of dental care. She also provides much needed support in the business office.  She has worked with our office since 2005, both full time and part time. In her time away from the office, she enjoys photography, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Treatment Coordinator 

Heather Q. is originally from Southern California. Heather raised her children in Middle Tennessee before making Savannah her home. She recently welcomed her first grandchild into the family, a new and joyful chapter in her life. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time exploring the local beaches with her youngest daughter. With over 10 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant and 9 years managing dental practices, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to Savannah Perio & Implants. As a Treatment Coordinator, she strives to ensure every patient has an excellent experience- from explaining treatment options and fees to addressing follow-up questions after insurance claims are processed.

Treatment Coordinator

Sara T. was born in Savannah, Georgia. Sara has a bachelor’s degree in public health from Georgia Southern. She worked with a periodontal office in northwest Georgia after graduation and returned to our area with her husband to join our team. Sara works primarily in the Statesboro office and enjoys building relationships with patients while scheduling recommended treatment. When she is out of the office, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, Cody and her chocolate lab, Tucker. She is an avid kayaker and enjoys make-up artistry.

Administrative Assistant & Hygiene Coordinator

Tyler E. was raised in Effingham County but has lived in Statesboro for the past 15 years. She met her husband, a Statesboro native, while attending Georgia Southern University. In her spare time, Tyler enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Administrative  & Surgical Assistant

Bella C. was born in Savannah and she currently lives in Coffee Bluff. She graduated from Georgia College with a bachelor degree in Public Health. Although she is new to dentistry, Bella is experienced with technology and happily enjoys serving others. In fact, she has continued her education to pursue her love of nursing and has graduated from Georgia Southern. She has proven herself to be willing and able to assist in scheduling, surgical assisting and various administrative duties. Her passions outside of the office include spending time with family, boating and the beach! 

Scheduling & Hygiene Coordinator

Summer M. has joined our Statesboro practice as our hygiene coordinator. We are excited that she has chosen to join our team. Summer was raised in Effingham and currently lives in Metter with her husband. She has worked in dentistry for more than 3 years. On the weekends you can find her spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, Georgia.

Scheduling & Hygiene Coordinator

Megan T. was born and raised in Savannah. She graduated from South University with a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management. Megan has previous experience in radiology and has embraced her role of scheduling coordinator with our practice. She is also able to assist with many treatment and insurance questions in our Savannah office. As a former college athlete, Megan balances her work-life with her love of soccer, hiking and boating with her husband, Adam and her son, Scotty.

Surgical Assistant

Michelle F. is a graduate of Florida College of Medical and Dental Assistants. She has many years of experience in a variety of dental specialties, while living in several areas along the east coast and abroad. She is excellent in educating patients on the best techniques for post-operative dental care. Michelle and her family returned to her home-town of Savannah to be close to Tybee in 2001, and has been with our team since that time. Michelle loves reading, music and spending time with her very large family. 

Surgical Assistant

Nicole R. is originally from Roanoke, Virginia. She began her dental assisting career in Atlanta, Georgia in 2011. She has previously worked in general dentistry, oral surgery and periodontics. After visiting the area several times, Nicole decided to come experience the beauty of Savannah full time and joined our team in early 2022. Nicole enjoys playing music with her band and gardening. 

Surgical Assistant

Te’qunia P.  (also known as “Tee”) was born in Germany, the daughter of a military father. Her family moved to Statesboro as a child and never left. She graduated from Ogeechee Tech in 2010 with her EFDA certification (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). Tee began her dental career in a pediatric office, then expanded her knowledge with a general dental practice until joining us at Savannah Perio. She is married and has two sons and a daughter. In her free time, Tee enjoys crafting for her business and traveling with her family! She is a welcome addition to our Statesboro office as our surgical assistant. Tee has a pleasant, helpful attitude and is a skillful assistant.

Hygienist/Periodontal Therapist

Allison B., RDH was raised in Statesboro, GA and completed the dental hygiene program at Southeastern Technical College in 2020. She has worked with several excellent dentists since that time, and we are fortunate to have her working exclusively with our team. She works primarily in our Statesboro office. Allison is passionate about providing thorough periodontal care and creating a calm environment for her patients. Away from the office, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her Australian shepherd dogs, and going to the beach.

Hygienist/Periodontal Therapist

Lois E., RDH was born in Savannah and currently lives in Richmond Hill. Lois graduated with her associates degree in dental hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic University. Lois has been a valued part of our team since 1984! She has worked in our Savannah office and currently cares for the periodontal needs of patients in our Statesboro office. During her time away from the office, Lois enjoys walking on the beach and spending time with children and grandchildren.

Hygienist/Periodontal Therapist

Jan E., RDH is a Savannah native. She earned an associate degree in dental hygiene from Armstrong State University in 1986. Since graduating, Jan has worked exclusively in the Savannah area, and began her dental career in general dentistry. Jan has been a member of our team since 2013 and provides each one of her patients with the periodontal care and education about care at home that they need. Jan’s hobbies include running, spending time with her grandchildren, and her handsome goldendoodle.

Hygienist/Periodontal Therapist

Jessica M., RDH completed her associates degree in dental hygiene in 2005 from Northeast Mississippi Community College. She is licensed in Georgia and North Carolina with more than half of her experience being in periodontics. Jessica joined our practice in early 2022 and currently sees patients in our Statesboro location. She has a passion for patient education and improving their overall oral health and enjoys the opportunity to share in the lives of her patients. She resides in Effingham County with her husband and two sons and loves spending time with her family on their small farm, sewing, crafting, and woodworking.

Jody S., RDH has worked with our practice on a temporary and full time basis for many years. She completed  her associate degree in dental hygiene at Armstrong State University. In addition to working in our periodontal practice, Jody has enjoyed working in multiple restorative and specialty practices over her long dental career. She also is thrilled to have the opportunity to be able to volunteer with Dental Community Fellowship and has served in Ecuador and Honduras.

Anna B., RDH – Anna was born and raised in Savannah and completed her dental hygiene degree through Savannah Technical College. Anna is passionate about dentistry and is excited to be a part of our team! She is eager to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through exercising, and exploring local spots around town.

Jordan G., RDH – Jordan is a Savannah native and graduate of Savannah Technical College where she earned an associate degree in dental hygiene. Jordan enjoys being a part of our team and providing patients with periodontal care and education! When not working with patients, she enjoys curling up with a good book, spending time with her husband, and spoiling their corgi, Bingley.
